Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a remote-first role with an international team. You will design and deploy advanced ML models, work with massive datasets, and translate complex insights into practical business outcomes.

You will mentor junior data scientists, contribute to AI strategy, and collaborate across product and engineering. A strong background in Python, ML libraries, and cloud data platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science with focus on ML/AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).
• Expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database systems.
• Proven experience deploying ML models into production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong collaboration abilities in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated ML models and algorithms.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for model training and deployment.
