Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Senior Consultant to join its Business Process Improvement practice. The role focuses on helping clients optimize operations, streamline workflows, and realize cost savings through data-driven lean methods.

You will lead diagnostics, design improved processes, collaborate virtually with client teams, and drive sustainable adoption of new ways of working across industries in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years in management consulting, operational excellence, or BPM.
• Proven track record with Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent virtual communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic assessments to identify inefficiencies in business processes.
• Design and implement optimized process flows using lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Develop process maps, performance metrics, and control mechanisms.
• Manage projects focused on business process re-engineering and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with client teams to drive change and sustainable improvements.
• Utilize data analytics to measure performance and root causes.
• Facilitate workshops and training on process improvement techniques.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for clients and leadership.
• Contribute to development of BPM methodologies and thought leadership.
• Ensure successful adoption of new processes by end users.
