Placements24 invites a Senior Computational Biologist to join our remote-first research team. You will design and apply advanced computational analyses to large-scale transcriptomics, proteomics, and single-cell data, translating findings into actionable insights.

You will build scalable bioinformatics pipelines, collaborate with biologists and clinicians, and leverage machine learning to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets, communicating complex results clearly to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, CS, Statistics or related field.
• 7+ years in computational biology with complex data.
• Strong programming in Python or R with bioinformatics libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced computational analyses of large-scale biological datasets.
• Develop and maintain scalable bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and interpretation.
• Collaborate with biologists and clinicians to formulate hypotheses and translate findings.
