Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Security Architect to guide a globally distributed, fully remote team. You will design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, shaping security posture from design to deployment.

You will mentor engineers, drive DevSecOps practices, and ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) across platforms while staying ahead of emerging threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of information security experience with at least 4 years in cloud security.
• Proven ability to design secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Strong DevSecOps and CI/CD integration experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Relevant cloud security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop and enforce security policies and best practices for cloud environments.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud services.
• Implement IAM, encryption, network security, and vulnerability management.
• Oversee CI/CD security integration (DevSecOps).
• Lead incident response for cloud security breaches.
• Mentor security engineers and collaborate with development teams.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud security threats and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS in cloud deployments.
