Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team focused on revolutionizing the renewable energy sector. You will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python and Django to power a scalable platform.

You will build RESTful APIs, optimize PostgreSQL databases, and contribute to architecture, testing, and performance improvements in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimization.
• Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Git.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support frontend apps and third-party integrations.
• Develop and manage efficient PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Implement and maintain automated testing suites (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and other stakeholders to deliver features.
• Optimize application performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
