Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aviation Safety Analyst to join a globally distributed team. This fully remote role focuses on collecting and interpreting aviation safety data, identifying trends, and informing proactive safety measures to improve air travel safety worldwide.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative background, 6+ years in aviation safety analysis, and strong skills in SPSS, R, or Python, with knowledge of SMS and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of aviation safety analysis experience.
• Experience with SPSS, R or Python for data analysis.
• Knowledge of SMS and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, manage, and analyze large datasets related to aviation safety events.
• Develop and apply statistical methods to identify safety trends and risk factors.
• Prepare comprehensive safety reports, briefings, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to safety enhancement programs and initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for aviation hazards.
