Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Aviation Safety Analyst to join a fully remote, globally-focused team. You will collect, analyze, and interpret safety data from multiple sources to identify trends and recommend mitigations, collaborating with international regulators and airlines.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a related field, has at least five years of aviation safety analysis experience, and demonstrates strong communication skills for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, Engineering or Statistics.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation safety analysis experience.
• Proficient with Excel, SPSS, R, Python and safety management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collect and manage aviation safety data from incident reports, audits and other sources.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes and hazards.
• Develop statistical models and tools for safety performance monitoring.
• Prepare safety reports, briefs and presentations for stakeholders.
• Formulate recommendations for risk mitigation and safety improvements.
• Collaborate virtually with international safety experts and regulators.
• Maintain safety databases and documentation.
• Stay informed about emerging aviation safety issues and best practices.
• Contribute to safety management systems development and refinement.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
