Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Automotive Data Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will extract insights from large automotive datasets, build dashboards, and deliver reports that guide product development, marketing, and operations.

Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), plus Python or R for analytics, will be essential. You will translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for cross‑functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, CS, Economics).
• 5+ years as a Data Analyst, preferably automotive.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction/manipulation.
• Expertise in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and analytics software (R, Python).
• Strong grasp of statistical modeling and ML concepts; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large automotive datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards/reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Perform complex analyses to identify trends in vehicle performance, usage, and customer preferences.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to define data needs and metrics.
