Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a fully remote capacity, serving Pretoria-based operations. You will maintain financial records, manage general ledger functions, and support audits in line with IFRS and SA tax laws.

We require a CA(SA) or ACCA preferred candidate with 5+ years in financial services or banking, proficiency in SAP/Oracle, and advanced Excel, plus strong analytical and communication skills suitable for remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA(SA) or ACCA highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within financial services or banking.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
