Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, build, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure to support model training, evaluation, and deployment.

Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and MLOps tools in a distributed team. Ideal candidate has 5+ years in AI/ML infra, strong scripting skills in Python or Bash, and a passion for scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering focused on AI/ML workloads.
• Experience with cloud platforms and their managed ML services.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable ML infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML models and infra.
• Build data pipelines for large ML datasets.
• Optimize compute for ML training and inference workloads.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for ML systems.
• Automate provisioning using Terraform/Ansible or equivalent.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to meet infrastructure needs.
• Ensure security and compliance of ML infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues promptly.
