Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design and scale distributed AI infrastructure for training, inference, and data processing. The role emphasizes cloud-based platforms, MLOps, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work remotely with a globally distributed team, focusing on scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient AI systems that power cutting-edge products and research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience building and managing large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and services.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed data processing (Spark, Dask).
• Knowledge of ML concepts and workflows.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable distributed systems for AI/ML workloads.
• Optimize training and inference pipelines for performance and efficiency.
• Manage and monitor ML infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Implement and advocate MLOps: CI/CD, automated testing, deployment strategies.
