Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and data pipelines. You will collaborate with a global team of engineers and data scientists to build cutting-edge AI systems that solve real-world challenges.

The role requires a strong foundation in software engineering, deep ML expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of core machine learning concepts, algorithms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, deep learning), and statistical modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated ML services.
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark) is a plus.
• Published research in relevant AI/ML conferences or journals is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain robust and scalable AI/ML models and algorithms.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to define project requirements and technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Develop and implement machine learning infrastructure, including training, evaluation, and deployment frameworks.
• Conduct research on new AI/ML techniques and technologies, and apply them to improve existing systems or develop new capabilities.
• Optimize model performance, accuracy, and efficiency for production environments.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in AI/ML systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development practices and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related fields.
