You will build trust by promoting fairness, transparency, and accountability, train teams on ethical AI practices, and advise on complex dilemmas at the intersection of technology, law, and policy across industries in South Africa and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant field (AI, CS, philosophy, law or ethics).
• Significant experience in AI development, policy or risk management.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI ethics frameworks and societal impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI ethics policies and governance frameworks.
• Conduct ethical impact assessments for AI projects and advise on regulatory compliance.
