Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our innovative team, working fully remotely. You will develop and deploy AI solutions that drive business value and advance technology, collaborating with a global team from the Rustenburg region origin.

You'll leverage state-of-the-art ML techniques, design scalable models, and implement robust MLOps practices to support training, deployment, and monitoring across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional AI or ML engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with MLOps for CI/CD of ML models.
• Strong communication and collaboration for remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deploy scalable AI and ML models and solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate AI capabilities into existing products and services.
• Optimize ML algorithms and data pipelines for performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Design and build robust MLOps infrastructure for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of AI systems to ensure accuracy and robustness.
• Stay updated on emerging AI trends and technologies, evaluating their potential application.
