Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Security Architect to shape and implement secure IT systems across the organization. You will define security strategy, standards, and roadmaps while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into secure architectural solutions.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, data protection, and setting security direction at a foundational level. Extensive experience in security architecture and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years in information security with a focus on security architecture.
• Deep understanding of TOGAF, SABSA, NIST, ISO 27001.
• Experience with security architecture modeling and documentation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure enterprise architectures with security principles.
• Define security standards, guidelines and patterns across domains.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies to address threats.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed security in SDLC.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and guide risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain security architecture roadmaps and docs.
