Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, finding decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects, creating a strong first impression of Blacksmith Agency.

This is a remote, full-time role focused on thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn, email, and phone to meet volume goals while keeping touchpoints high quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
