Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You’ll research accounts, identify decision makers and craft personalized outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone, aiming to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You'll maintain clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records, test messaging, and continuously improve targeting.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role or similar
• Ability to personalize outreach
• Experience with Salesforce and pipeline management
• Quota-bearing sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team
