Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

As top-of-funnel specialist, you will use LinkedIn, email and phone to execute personalized outbound sequences, maintain Salesforce and SalesLoft records, and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives. Remote role in SA.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
