Job summary

Blacksmith Agency seeks a proactive Sales Development Representative across South Africa. You will own top-of-funnel outreach, researching target accounts, identifying decision makers and booking qualified meetings while shaping the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You’ll use LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to reach volume targets with thoughtful, personalized messages. Remote role with SA-wide scope and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
