Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith with potential clients and drive pipeline.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus Salesforce experience and pipeline

Qualifications

2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
Experience using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
