Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is hiring Sales Development Representatives to own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to drive pipeline, build accurate contact lists, and maintain clean CRM records while hitting volume and quality targets.

This is a fully remote role within SA with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced agency.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
