Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As Sales Development Associate, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will work remotely within South Africa, collaborating with our sales team to test messaging, optimize targeting and expand our pipeline through outbound

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable with Salesforce and pipeline management.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
