Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are eager to open doors and drive pipeline. As a Sales Development Consultant at Blacksmith, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to achieve volume goals

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus
• Strong written communication and personalization of outreach

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team
