Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel activities across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft purposeful outreach to book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR roles (agency or SaaS a plus), strong written communication, and familiarity with Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other outbound tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and feedback with the sales team.
