Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—researching target accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

You'll use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach, maintain an accurate pipeline, and collaborate with Account Executives to maximize conversion.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
