Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients and drive pipeline using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

The role focuses on thoughtful outreach, pattern recognition and high-quality communication to meet volume goals while maintaining quality

Qualifications

2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools and using Salesforce to manage pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
