Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity across South Africa. You will research, source, and book meetings with qualified decision makers, shaping the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and Salesforce to hit volume targets while ensuring high-quality touchpoints. Prior SDR experience and strong written communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
