Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients and drive pipeline with thoughtful outreach.

Using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce, you will hit volume goals while maintaining high touch quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Ability to personalize outreach at scale.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
