Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision makers, crafting thoughtful outreach that creates a strong first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

Responsibilities include researching ideal accounts, building contact lists, running personalized outbound sequences via email/LinkedIn/phone, and booking discovery calls for Account Executives.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role (experience in agency or SaaS is a plus).
• Proven ability to research, identify and engage decision makers with personalized outreach.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
