Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn, email and phone to build a strong first impression of Blacksmith.

You will work remotely within South Africa, with a focus on high-quality outreach, pattern recognition and collaboration with the sales team to drive qualified pipeline.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred and quota carrying is welcome.
• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
