Blacksmith Agency is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our South Africa team. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outbound outreach to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

This remote role is based in South Africa, requiring about two years in SDR/BDR or SaaS experience, with strong written communication and familiarity with Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo and LinkedIn tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
