Blacksmith Agency is hiring an SDR (Sales Development Representative) across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—researching accounts, sourcing contacts, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers to create the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outreach using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to achieve volume targets while maintaining high-quality touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS a plus).
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
