Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are eager to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers while creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to achieve volume targets while maintaining high-quality touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Ability to write personalized outreach and emails with a high touch.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
