Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help open doors across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and book meetings with qualified prospects, forming the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

In this fully remote role, you’ll use tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to manage your pipeline and drive outbound engagement.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
