Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years in SDR/BDR or SaaS experience, strong written communication, and familiarity with Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience using outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
