Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers, and book discovery calls to feed the funnel for Account Executives.

This remote, full-time role requires strong written communication, comfort with outbound tools, and a coachable mindset to continuously improve messaging and targeting in Salesforce and related platforms.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS a plus)
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
