Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Project Manager to lead client SaaS implementations across South Africa. You will be the primary contact for customers, guiding adoption and integration while coordinating with engineering, support and sales teams.

You will manage end-to-end projects, build plans and timelines, track milestones, mitigate risks and provide regular status updates. A strong technical background and exceptional communication are essential in our fully remote, client‑facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on SaaS or software implementations.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering successful technology projects.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Technical understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud-based solutions is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira or Asana.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for SaaS solutions for various clients.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for client implementations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams (engineering, support, sales) to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Facilitate client training sessions and provide ongoing support for new system adoption.
• Ensure client satisfaction and successful adoption of the SaaS platform.
• Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, providing regular status reports.
• Contribute to the improvement of implementation processes and best practices.
• Manage multiple client projects concurrently in a remote setting.
