Placements24 is seeking a Remote Retail Operations Specialist to streamline and enhance retail processes across locations from a home office. You will analyze operational data, identify gaps, and implement standardized procedures to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of retail operations, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting a national retail strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail operations or a similar analytical role.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent understanding of retail processes, including inventory management, sales operations, and customer service.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with operational software or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze retail store performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop, document, and implement standardized operational procedures and best practices for retail locations.
• Support store teams with operational queries, troubleshooting, and guidance on policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Inventory, Marketing) to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in the rollout of new retail initiatives, systems, and technologies.
• Prepare regular operational reports for management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
• Monitor compliance with operational standards and identify areas for training needs.
• Manage vendor relationships related to operational supplies and services.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving the overall customer journey and in-store experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retail industry best practices and emerging technologies.
