Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Retail Data Analyst to transform large retail datasets into actionable business insights. You will build dashboards, forecast sales, and influence decisions across sales, marketing, and operations from a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in data analytics, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Python or R, plus experience with Tableau or Power BI to drive data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3–5 years experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in retail.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI).
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of retail data from diverse sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards/reports to track KPIs.
• Identify trends and correlations in sales, customer, and operations data.
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions.
• Develop predictive models for sales forecasting and inventory needs.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering to ensure data quality.
• Present findings to management and cross-functional teams.
