Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field is required.
• Significant experience in reinsurance, on either insurer or reinsurer side, is essential.
• Strong understanding of reinsurance contracts, market practices, and financial modeling is required.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for success.
• Ability to manage complex relationships and projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the negotiation, placement, and administration of reinsurance treaties.
• Analyze the company's risk exposure and identify appropriate reinsurance solutions.
• Monitor the performance of reinsurance contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Process and manage reinsurance claims recoveries from reinsurers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on reinsurance matters to senior management and underwriting teams.
