Placements24 is seeking a remote AI Engineer specialized in Reinforcement Learning to join a globally distributed research team. You will design, implement, and optimize RL algorithms, develop simulation environments, and integrate agents into existing systems using Python.

Qualifications

MSc/PhD in CS/AI/ML or related quantitative field with RL focus.
Proven RL experience (Q-learning, Policy Gradients, Actor-Critic) in real problems.
Strong Python skills with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience with RL libraries (OpenAI Gym, Stable Baselines3) is a plus.
Strong mathematical and statistical background for ML.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Excellent communication for virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and evaluate RL algorithms and models.
Develop simulation environments and integrate RL agents into existing systems.
Conduct experiments to benchmark and optimize RL performance across tasks.
Collaborate with a globally distributed AI team via remote tools.
Stay current with RL research and advances.
Contribute to the ML lifecycle: data prep, feature engineering, training, and deployment.
Write clean, documented Python code.
Present findings and progress to the team and stakeholders.
Identify business use cases and apply RL to drive innovation.
