Job summary
Placements24 is recruiting a Rehabilitation Support Worker to join a remote-first team serving clients in and around Paarl, Western Cape. You will provide remote guidance to individuals undergoing rehabilitation, monitor progress, and connect clients to therapies and resources using digital tools.
Ideal candidates have a relevant healthcare support, social work, or psychology qualification, plus experience in rehabilitation or healthcare settings and strong empathy and communication skills for
Qualifications
- Must have a relevant qualification or certification in healthcare support, social work, psychology, or related field.
- Experience in rehabilitation or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong digital communication and remote collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote support and guidance to individuals in rehabilitation programs.
- Conduct virtual check-ins and monitor client progress.
- Educate clients on rehabilitation techniques and self-management.
- Assist clients in accessing resources, therapies, and community services remotely.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records using digital systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
