Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Purchasing Coordinator to manage day-to-day procurement from a home office. You will process purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and maintain accurate records to keep operations cost-efficient and on schedule.

In this fully remote role, you will work autonomously within a virtual team, ensuring requests are clear and vendor deliveries are tracked, while supporting inventory control and administrative tasks with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative support role is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, for records.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication for remote interaction.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized purchasing records, invoices, and receipts.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders as needed.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure procurement requests are clear.
• Assist the procurement team with administrative tasks and data entry.
