Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, Law, or related field.
• 6+ years in public affairs, government relations, corporate communications, or related role.
• Experience in policy analysis, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in media relations and public speaking.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage complex projects in a fully remote setting.
• Strategic thinking and strong analytical capabilities.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic public affairs and communication plans.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the agricultural technology sector.
• Engage with government officials, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to advocate for company positions.
• Craft compelling communication materials, including position papers, policy briefs, speeches, and media statements.
• Manage media relations related to public affairs issues, responding to inquiries and facilitating interviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, NGOs, and industry associations.
• Support crisis communications and issue management efforts from a public affairs perspective.
• Collaborate with internal teams (legal, R&D, marketing) to ensure integrated messaging.
• Analyze the effectiveness of public affairs initiatives and report on outcomes.
• Stay abreast of evolving trends in public affairs, communications, and the agricultural sector.
