Placements24 is seeking a proactive Public Affairs Specialist to shape public perception, manage stakeholder relations, and advocate for the organization with government bodies and the public. This fully remote role offers strategic impact from any location and a focus on policy, advocacy, and Media & PR.

You will monitor legislative developments, develop briefs, and engage with policymakers while contributing to CSR initiatives and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Law, or related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of public affairs, government relations, lobbying, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of policy-making processes and governmental affairs.
• Excellent research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public affairs strategies to support organizational objectives and policy goals.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the organization's industry.
• Engage with government officials, policymakers, and community leaders to build relationships and advocate for organizational positions.
• Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and communication materials for various stakeholders.
• Manage corporate social responsibility initiatives and community outreach programs.
• Coordinate responses to public inquiries and media requests related to public policy and advocacy.
