Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Splunk Solutions Engineer in South Africa. You will lead technical discovery, architecture whiteboarding, and live demonstrations to show platform value and secure technical wins.

You will map Cisco and Splunk integration Playbooks, driving joint opportunities with CISOs and channel partners to expand adoption and success across Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, ES, ITSI, and Observability Cloud.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Experience configuring SIEM platforms and enterprise Cybersecurity/SecOps solutions.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technical discovery and architectural whiteboarding for customer engagements.
• Execute PoVs across Splunk platforms to validate capabilities.
• Position Cisco and Splunk integration solutions (Cisco Security Cloud with Splunk ES; Splunk Observability) to win deals.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives, CISOs, SOC Managers, and Partners to align solutions with business goals.
• Aim for high ACV/TCV quotas and maintain a strong technical win rate (>75%).
• Generate joint Cisco cross-sell opportunities and contribute reusable demo assets.
