Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Production Process Engineer to join their global operations team. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency, quality, and output of manufacturing processes across the organization, while working remotely.

You will analyze production lines, identify improvement areas, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs. The ideal candidate has a strong lean and Six Sigma background and can drive change from a distance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing process engineering.
• Proven experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes or modifications to existing ones to enhance productivity and quality.
• Lead process improvement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve workflow.
• Develop and maintain detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for production processes.
• Collaborate effectively with on-site manufacturing teams and cross-functional stakeholders remotely to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to implement sustainable corrective actions.
