Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Production Planner to join our remote operations team. You will develop and maintain production schedules, forecast needs, coordinate with procurement and production across locations, and optimize inventory using ERP/MRP systems.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work autonomously from a remote setting, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

Experience in production planning or supply chain management in manufacturing.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address deviations or unexpected issues.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to manage customer orders and delivery expectations.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track production orders, manage bills of materials, and optimize inventory.
Generate reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and inventory status for management review.
