Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing needs from a home office. You will source, negotiate, and process purchase orders while supporting cost savings and supplier relationships in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities include market research, negotiating favorable terms, issuing POs, and maintaining records. The role requires strong organizational skills, remote work discipline, and proficiency with procurement software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
• Negotiate favourable pricing and terms with vendors for goods and services.
• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders using procurement software.
• Manage supplier communications, including order confirmations and delivery tracking.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing requirements and provide timely support.
