Placements24 is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our distributed engineering team. You will design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes, collaborating remotely with R&D, production, and quality assurance to implement improvements and troubleshoot challenges.

This role emphasizes process simulation, SPC, lean manufacturing, CAD and process modeling, and requires 5+ years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process simulation, SPC, and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD and process modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes.
• Conduct process analysis to identify optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop and execute experiments to test improvements.
• Create and maintain SOPs, flowcharts, and control plans.
• Collaborate with vendors and engineering on new machinery.
• Troubleshoot deviations and implement corrective actions.
